Service Agreement
Version 1.3
1. Who we are
Siam DTV (“we”, “us”) is an independent private visa consultancy registered at [registered address] under company number [company number]. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or any diplomatic mission.
2. Scope of service
We provide advisory and document-preparation services in connection with applications for the Destination Thailand Visa. Depending on the package purchased this may include eligibility assessment, document collection and verification, application preparation, submission through the Thai e-Visa portal, and post-arrival compliance assistance.
We do not provide legal representation, tax advice, or immigration advice for any jurisdiction other than as described above. Where your circumstances call for those, we will tell you so and recommend that you engage an appropriately qualified professional.
3. No guarantee of outcome
Visa adjudication rests solely with the Royal Thai Government. No consultancy, ours included, can guarantee that an application will be approved. Nothing on our website, in correspondence, or said during a consultation constitutes a promise of approval.
4. Fees, and what is not included
- Our professional fee is the amount displayed at checkout and is payable in advance.
- Government fees are not included. They are set independently by each diplomatic mission, paid directly to that mission, and are outside our control. We will tell you the current figure for your mission before you file.
- Third-party costs — document authentication, translation, courier, medical examinations — are not included unless expressly stated in your package.
5. Fees are non-refundable
Our professional fees are non-refundable once we have begun work on your matter. You are paying for professional time, analysis and document preparation, which is expended whether or not the mission ultimately grants your visa. Refusal of a visa is not a failure of the service and does not give rise to a refund.
This applies in particular where:
- the mission refuses, delays or declines to decide your application;
- you supplied information or documents that were inaccurate, incomplete or untruthful;
- you fail to supply a requested document within a reasonable period;
- you change your mind, change your plans, or cease to respond to us;
- law, policy or mission practice changes after you engage us.
Before work commences. If you cancel before we have begun substantive work — that is, before your consultation takes place or before document review starts — we refund your fee in full. “Substantive work” begins at the earlier of your consultation, our first review of your documents, or our first written advice to you.
Government fees. These are paid directly to the diplomatic mission and are outside our control. They are not refundable by us in any circumstance.
Immediate performance and the right of withdrawal. By purchasing, you expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed you will lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off that would otherwise apply to a distance contract. Where the service has only been partly performed at the point of cancellation, you remain liable for the proportion performed.
Your statutory rights are unaffected. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence, including any right to a remedy where a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill. If any part of this clause is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the remainder continues to apply.
6. Consultation credit
The eligibility assessment fee is credited in full against any package purchased within 90 days of the assessment. The credit is applied automatically at checkout, is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and expires unused after 90 days.
7. Your obligations
You confirm that all information and documents you provide are truthful, complete, and lawfully obtained. Submitting falsified documents to a diplomatic mission is a criminal offence in Thailand and in most jurisdictions. It voids our refund undertaking, entitles us to terminate immediately without refund, and may oblige us to report the matter.
8. Cancellation and termination
You may cancel at any time by written notice. The consequences follow clause 5: a full refund before substantive work begins, and no refund after it.
We may terminate immediately, without refund, if you supply falsified documents, ask us to make a statement we believe to be untrue, behave abusively toward our staff, or fail to respond for 60 days. Where we terminate for any other reason, we refund the proportion of the fee relating to work not yet performed.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total liability arising from this agreement is limited to the professional fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost travel bookings, lost income, or accommodation costs. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Data protection
We process your personal data to deliver the services described. Documents are encrypted at rest, retained for 24 months after case closure, and disclosed only to the diplomatic mission handling your application. See our Privacy Terms for the detail, including how to request erasure.
11. Record of consent
Your acceptance of this agreement is recorded in an append-only audit log together with the timestamp, your IP address, and this version number. Each entry is cryptographically chained to the one before it, so the record is tamper-evident. You may request a copy of the entries relating to you at any time.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes
We may update this agreement. Material changes increment the version number and require fresh acceptance before your next transaction. Changes never apply retroactively to work already paid for.
